Rite Aid anticipates that N95 masks will be available in some stores at the end of the last week of january, with all stores receiving them by early February, according to a statement from the company. Customers will be able to pick up three masks at an in-store display or the pharmacy counter while supplies last.
The CDC suggests wearing the “most protective mask you can that fits well and that you will wear consistently.” It says that N95s offer the “highest level of protection,” followed by similar respirator masks like the KN95 and KF94 or well-fitting disposable surgical masks, which the CDC says are better than cloth masks, which offer the “least protection.”
